Wonderful Lady Vicar
My husband has been a fan of British comedy for years. he recently got me into Vicar of Dibley starring Dawn French. She always talks about eating "Curly Wurlys" when she's stressed and I thought she was making up the name of the candies.
Today, we went to Publix and they have a section of Britsh candy! I was so excited to see Curly Wurlys. I got one and they are similar of the "Marathon" bar.
The British have a lot of yummy chocolate that we don't have here.

there are curly wurlys in Australia too, made from the Cadbury factory in Tasmania.
I've never seen a marathon bar.
thanks for posting a link to this store, it looks amazing! I spent my whole summer last year on British food and I actually miss it!
you are welcome. I was excited to find it.
ha ha ha
this post made me laugh.
as much as i love chocolate...i have to say i am not a huge fan of the curly wurly. im from aussieland, maybe they taste better in the UK...well, everything tastes better in the UK, but maybe they make them better over there!
i am guessing you are from the states[?] and if you are, just be happy that you have corn candy - i fell in love with it while i was there and cannot get it anywhere here! its great! :P
hey maybe we could work something out where I send you some candy corns and you send me some Aussie candy.
P.S. Yes, i am from Nashville, TN.
I'm especially fond of Penguin bars, they're like big square oreos with chocolate coating...mmmmmm
